How is this calculated?
This uses the sex-adjusted midparental-height method. It averages the biological parents’ heights after adding 13 cm for a boy or subtracting 13 cm for a girl.
For boys: (mother’s height + father’s height + 13 cm) ÷ 2. For girls: (mother’s height + father’s height − 13 cm) ÷ 2.
